From ancient times, Christians have considered places of burial to be sacred sites where the departed are honored and remembered. They are places for prayer, for families and loved ones to gather. They are places of peace.

At St. Luke’s, the Columbarium Garden is such a place. Nestled between the church sanctuary and the All Saints’ Chapel, the sacred traditions of Christian life and burial are celebrated. The arched entry and the leafy canopy of trees provide an atmosphere of solitude and reflection. While the flowing fountain and patches of clouds and sky are reminders of God’s unceasing love and promises of eternal life.
