St. Luke’s organ – officially known as the Aeolian Skinner Organ, Opus 1438 – is one of the most revered instruments in the greater Dallas area.

Originally built in 1965 for Southern Methodist University’s Caruth Auditorium, the organ was considered the premier teach and concert organ in the southwest. Major artists from around the country traveled to Dallas to perform on the organ including Robert T. Anderson, Marie-Claire Alain, Guy Bovet, and many others. The organ at St. Luke’s continues to be sought out by students and artists for recitals and concerts.
