Saint Paul writes to the church in Corinth and says:

“Each one must do as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that you may always have enough of everything and may provide in abundance for every good work.”

Paul is encouraging the church to offer gifts with cheerful hearts and in thankfulness for God’s generosity. From ancient times, the Church utilized the gifts of God’s people to edify and build up the church and serve those in need. St. Luke’s is a place full of generous and joyful givers. This past year, your time, service, and financial support have enabled St. Luke’s to have a wonderful year of ministry within the walls of the Church and out in our community. The fruit of these efforts has been seen in increased attendance, several successful (and fun!) community events, and the support of ministries in need like Gateway of Grace, Blessing Bags, Sandwich Ministry, and the Plaid Door.

I invite you to consider giving to St. Luke’s in 2026 prayerfully. You have been mailed a pledge card. Please return your pledges by mail, office drop-off, or placing them in the offering plate. Or, you can pledge online by clicking on GIVE on St. Luke’s website (www.stlukesdallas.org). Please try to return your pledges by 23rd November so that the vestry may have time to budget for the year ahead.

I believe God has big things in store for St. Luke’s, and I encourage you to partner with me and your vestry in making this coming year at St. Luke’s just as lively and full of good work.

Yours in Christ Jesus,

St. Luke’s Stewardship Sig
